Postdocs, visits, and studentships
with Ion Traps and Quantum Information group

We are interested in hiring a postdoc to work in the Ion Trap group, developing our work on quantum information experiments using a linear ion trap. This requires knowledge of standard techniques in atomic physics experiments, including laser frequency stabilisation, ultra high vacuum techniques and computer control. Experience with ion traps is not necessary, though it would be preferable.

There are several funding opportunities listed below. If you are interested, please first find out more about these by following the contact addresses given. If you find you are eligible for one of these grants, and the dates suit you, or if you have funding from another source, then please get in touch with me, sending a cv or recommendation, and I will explore further. Happy hunting!
